A busy professional family with two awesome school-aged kids (12 & 10) who are looking for an afternoon nanny to bring fun, calm, and good vibes to their afternoons. In their family time they enjoy bike rides, walks, travel, and making memories.

Afternoons might also include dog walks, park adventures, crafting or pool games—so energy, creativity, and a love of the outdoors are a must!

This family has a no-phone policy while on the clock (unless contacting the parents)—so no scrolling, just full-on engagement with the kids.

They're looking for a nanny who is:

  • Honest, kind, and dependable
  • Fun, positive, and enthusiastic
  • Organised and proactive with tasks
  • Calm, firm, and confident with behaviour management, with excellent emotional regulation skills
  • A confident driver

Must-haves

  • Blue Card / Police Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years' nanny experience
  • 2 glowing references
  • Open driver's licence

About the Family

This is a lovely opportunity to join a warm, professional family with three young children. Life here is active and hands-on, with plenty of time spent at the park, swimming, cooking together, playing at home, exploring new places, and catching up with friends and extended family.

The children are an absolute joy. The eldest (4.5) is excited to start Prep in 2026 and takes her role as big sister very seriously. She loves craft, books, swimming and outdoor tinkering — especially building and creating at the park rather than climbing everything in sight.

The 2.5-year-old twin boys bring plenty of energy and fun, keeping busy with action-packed play and adventures throughout the day. One furry friend (CAT) completes the family! This role would suit a nanny who loves being active, creative and feeling like a valued part of a family's everyday rhythm.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny who genuinely enjoys working with children. Someone with great judgement around safety, who can build relationships while also setting clear, age-appropriate boundaries. You'll be confident guiding behaviour, happy to take initiative, and bring a calm, positive energy to each day. Most importantly, you'll enjoy being a consistent, caring presence in the children's lives.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities

• Sole care of 2.5-year-old twin boys
• Assisting with morning routines, including helping all children get ready for the day and packing lunches
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks for the children (supporting picky eaters with patience and creativity)
• Planning and engaging the children in age-appropriate, educational and play-based activities at home and in the backyard
• Taking the children on walks to local parks and outings (with the option to attend playgroup or activities if you have your own vehicle)
• Supporting daily routines including naps, quiet time and transitions
• General tidy-up after children's activities and meals
• Washing, putting away dishes, and keeping the kitchen tidy throughout the day
• Children's laundry, including washing, hanging, folding and putting away clothes
• Tidying children's bedrooms and play areas
• Caring for all three children during school holidays, with a mix of home-based care and local outings

If time allows:
• Changing children's linen weekly
• Taking out the kitchen bin as needed
• Occasional family meal prep (e.g. roasting vegetables once a week)

Transport

This role can be done without a vehicle. There are several parks within walking distance that can be accessed using the double pram. The family is also happy for the nanny to use their own car for outings if they have a licence, with car seats provided by arrangement.

Must-Haves

• Blue Card
• Police Check
• First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Minimum 2 years' experience with children
• 2 x reference checks
• Commitment of at least 12 months
• Whooping cough vaccination preferred (but not essential)
• Non-smoker / non-vaper

Strong organizational skills, cooking skills and a natural affinity for organization and tidiness would be a huge bonus! You'll also need to be a safe and confident driver with great communication skills. Some flexibility in your availability, and proximity to the family home would also be a bonus as there may be scope for additional hours, including during school holidays.
