About the Family:
A busy professional family with two awesome school-aged kids (12 & 10) who are looking for an afternoon nanny to bring fun, calm, and good vibes to their afternoons. In their family time they enjoy bike rides, walks, travel, and making memories.
- 12-year-old boy: Loves aviation, bike riding, swimming, and cooking. He catches the bus home, and is always up for a bike ride, board game, chess, or kitchen fun (just keep the fresh tomatoes away – he's allergic!).
- 10-year-old girl: A netballer, reader, crafter, dancer, baker, and budding acro superstar! Needs school pick-up, pick up from school debating on a Tuesday and drop off / pick up to acro on Thursdays.
· The family rounds out with their lovable 14 year old doggy who is super friendly.
What we are looking for:
Someone who can mix warmth, fun, and a bit of silliness with being reliable and organised. You'll be just as happy having a dance party or playing a board game on the lounge room floor as you are managing school runs, homework, and after-school activities. Afternoons might also include dog walks, park adventures, crafting or pool games—so energy, creativity, and a love of the outdoors are a must!
This family has a no-phone policy while on the clock (unless contacting the parents)—so no scrolling, just full-on engagement with the kids.
They're looking for a nanny who is:
- Honest, kind, and dependable
- Fun, positive, and enthusiastic
- Organised and proactive with tasks
- Calm, firm, and confident with behaviour management, with excellent emotional regulation skills
- A confident driver
- Comfortable in the water (bonus if you love pool games!)
Tasks:
- School pick-ups (girl needs collecting, boy takes the bus)
- Serve up healthy afternoon tea
- Supervise & help with homework & encourage good routines (bags unpacked, lunchboxes washed, etc.)
- Run the kids to after-school activities
- Light meal prep (chopping veggies and occasional cooking)
- General tidy-up after meals & activities
- Be the fun but steady presence who makes afternoons feel easy and enjoyable!
Transport
- Driver's licence required
- Own car needed (fuel allowance provided)
Must-haves
- Blue Card / Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Minimum 2 years' nanny experience
- 2 glowing references
- Open driver's licence
- Commitment
of at least 12 months

This fun-loving medical family is on the hunt for their very first nanny! They've got the sweetest 6-month-old baby girl and live on a beautiful acreage hobby farm in Rosehill (5 minutes from Warwick). Life at home is full of character — mum is horse-obsessed, dad is car-crazy, and together they love spending their down time tending to the garden and caring for their (growing) collection of animals. At the moment, their baby girl is happily going with the flow — 3–4 naps a day, bottles of formula here and there + breastfeeding, and just starting solids with one meal at dinner time. No rigid schedules here, just following her cues. The family is rounded out with two fluffy little dogs, two cats, a bunch of chooks, and soon enough, their beloved horses will be joining the crew too!
