About the Family
This role is with a professional single mum and her lively, curious two-year-old boy. Mum works full-time from home, at external meetings with one-night trips every couple of weeks (On those weeks, the nanny will have sole responsibility during the day, with a grandparent caring in the evenings). She mostly sticks to the office but will be in and out as needed to eat lunch etc.
The family enjoys living near New Farm Park with regular outings to the beach, pool, and local parks. They also love spending time with Nana, who visits occasionally while the nanny is on duty.
The little boy is full of energy and curiosity—always eager to explore, whether kicking a ball, riding his scooter, or playing on the playground. Music is a big part of their lives, with regular music classes he absolutely loves. At home, he enjoys "playing instruments" and singing along. Reading is another favourite, especially books about diggers and fire trucks. His imagination truly shines when building with LEGO, blocks, magna tiles or engaging in arts, crafts, and sensory play, as well as playing with his trucks and diggers. He is sensitive and caring, loves cuddles, and thinks of others—truly a heartwarming little boy and a joy to be around.
The family follows a lactose-free diet for the child and gluten-free for the parent.
