About the Family
This lovely family is on the hunt for a nurturing extra set of hands to help power through busy afternoons. Their bright and energetic 5.5-year-old (a Grade 1 superstar!) zips between swimming, music, ballet and tennis during the week, with weekends reserved for beach adventures, arty creations and quality family time. Both parents work full-time and manage school pick-ups and activity drop-offs, leaving you to focus on tasks at home. Rounding out the household is a lovable labradoodle who's always happy to supervise from the sidelines.
On the first and third Tuesday of each month, the family hosts a Christian prayer group in their living room. During this time, there will be additional children in the home — five in total (three over 4 years old and two under 4). Parents will be nearby and available to assist if needed.

You'll be playful and engaging (singing, dancing and getting involved!), yet grounded and reliable when it comes to routines. Someone warm, emotionally mature and respectful of a modest dress code will feel right at home. Afternoons are about meaningful connection — quality play, gentle guidance and helping their daughter reset after school — plus preparing dinners and a quick kitchen tidy. About the Family:
This role is with a warm, professional family with two young boys. Both parents are medical professionals with busy schedules and are looking for a wonderful nanny to become a valued part of their home. Their baby is 4.5 months old – sweet, curious and reaching exciting developmental milestones. He is beginning solids, learning to sit up independently, and currently enjoys 3–4 naps per day. His older brother is 3.5 years old and attends daycare full time. He loves music, books and imaginative play and absolutely adores his baby brother. He has a peanut allergy (antihistamine only – no anaphylaxis).
As a family they enjoy park visits, library trips and spending time with friends on weekends. They have a fortnightly cleaner and no pets, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on the children and keeping the household running smoothly during nap periods. They are in a home with a back yard and children's playroom!
What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced, warm and proactive nanny / household manager who genuinely loves working with babies and supporting early childhood development.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who enjoys guiding infants through their first year — supporting sleep routines, introducing solids, encouraging milestones, and creating a calm and stimulating environment where a baby can thrive. The ideal nanny will bring warmth, fun and positive energy into the home while confidently following established routines. They will enjoy engaging the baby through songs, stories, floor play, conversation and sensory activities that support curiosity and development. Knowledge of paced bottle feeding preferred.
The family values a screen-free, play-based approach and are looking for someone who is naturally organised, takes initiative during nap times, and helps keep the household running smoothly. A nanny who is calm, communicative, reliable and intuitive will thrive in this role. Someone who can "see a need and fill a need" while building a strong, trusting bond with the children and parents.
Tasks:
Infant Care:
• Sole-charge care of a 4.5-month-old baby
• Supporting developmental milestones through play-based learning
• Floor play, tummy time, reading, singing and interactive engagement
• Following established sleep routines and settling baby for naps
• Bottle feeding expressed breast milk (approx. 2–4 bottles per day)
• Preparing baby meals including purées and baby-safe foods
• Supporting a combination of baby-led weaning and purées
• Sterilising bottles and feeding equipment
• Recording feeds, naps and nappies in the BabyTime app
Outings & Development (once family is comfortable):
• Pram walks and outdoor time
• Park visits close to home
• Library rhyme time or similar activities
Household Support (during nap times):
• Baby meal preparation
• Preparing family dinner
• Folding laundry
• Light household organisation and resetting kitchen/living areas
• Communicating when baby supplies or pantry staples are running low
• Keeping baby areas tidy and organised
• Loading and unloading dishwasher
Toddler & Family Support:
• Occasional help with the toddler's evening routine (dinner, bath, play)
• Occasional weekend support (approx. once per month)
Transport:
Transport is not required for this role.
Must have:
• Blue Card / Police Check
• First Aid & CPR certificate
• 5 years of infant experience
• 2 x reference checks
• Excellent communication and ability to follow routines
• Looking for a long-term commitment
